Gender Equality Index
QuantCube scores 84 points out of 100
In 2023, our gender equality index soared to 84 out of 100 points, a testament to our ongoing dedication to cultivating an inclusive and diverse workplace. Notably, the legal mandate for companies with over 50 employees is a score above 75 points, and we take pride in exceeding this threshold.
To outline our commitment to continuous improvement, we have identified specific actions aimed at enhancing gender equality within our organization:
Additional Female Representation in Top Earning Positions:
Goal: Obtain 10 points by increasing the presence of two additional women among the employees receiving the ten highest salaries in the company.
Closing the Gender Pay Gap:
Goal: Move closer to the 40-point threshold by reducing the gender pay gap to less than 5%.
Diverse Data Science Talents
According to BCG research (What’s Keeping Women Out of Data Science?) published in March 2020 Data Science field lacks diversity and only 15% of data scientists today are women. We agree that the lack of diversity is a serious issue. AI algorithms are susceptible to bias, so building them requires a team that includes a wide range of views and experiences.
Women account for 40% of QuantCube’s Data Scientist Team as of September 2021. We will continue our effort to attract diverse talent to ensure robust data science and AI capability at QuantCube.
